SPP x Art Club Collaboration: Make Art for Charity!

Make Paintings to Help Build a Medical Clinic in Huacahuasi, a rural village in Peru!!

Sisters Project Peru is a CIO on grounds and nonprofit branch project of FNE International co-founded by Maya Koehn-Wu, a fellow UVA fourth-year and Natalie Koehn-Wu, her younger sister. The project was started back in 2020 and is dedicated to building a sustainable medical clinic in Huacahuasi, a rural village in Peru. Building a clinic means better maternal healthcare, reducing maternal mortality, and eliminating preventable deaths from lack of access.

Sisters Project Peru is hosting a collaboration with The Art Club at UVA over the course of two workshops on March 29 from 4-6 PM at the Studio on the third floor of 1515 and another follow-up event on April 6 to generate student art pieces that will be sold at our upcoming art auction event at Kardinal Hall where tickets include a free drink ticket and live jazz. Join us this Friday to make some fun paintings!
