COMMUNITY EVENT • Maddy Watkins “A Bad Case of Stripes”
Maddy creates wheel-thrown pieces and enjoys focusing on the curves. She uses colored underglazes in stripes as a calming practice, allowing her to explore various colors and patterns.

City Clay is an independently-owned clay studio that offers a creative environment, equipment, classes and gallery space for professional potters, and adult students, including the University of Virginia Clay Club. The studio is located in The Silk Mills Building, an historic structure, in Charlottesville, Virginia. City Clay’s community of potters and artist share ideas, expertise, inspiration, and a lot of fun.
