StARTup Studio | A Business Bootcamp for Artists
StARTup Studio will bring together visual artists at all stages of their careers from the University of Virginia and Charlottesville community for a full-day, interactive program aimed at strengthening business acumen while helping to increase the visibility of and market for the work. In-depth, hands-on sessions will address the numerous practical and philosophical issues related to the marketability and sustainability of a full- or part-time career in the arts. This program was developed by Debbie White at the Batten Institute at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in collaboration with the University of Virginia and community partners, with generous funding from our sponsor, The Jefferson Trust.
