Natural Pigments Workshop with Allyson Mellberg Taylor & Jeremy Taylor

Join us for a natural pigments ink & watercolor workshop with Charlottesville-based artists Allyson Mellberg Taylor & Jeremy Taylor. Participants in this hands-on workshop will have the opportunity to learn how to make watercolor from yellow ochre and ink made with black walnuts, all foraged in Virginia. Allyson and Jeremy will go through the process of making these materials and participants will go home with their own jar of ink and watercolor pan to experiment with. Paper and materials will be provided. This workshop is free to attend, geared toward adults, and appropriate for all skill levels. Space is limited and registration is required.
