About the Artist:
TM Krishna's music is anchored in the teachings of his distinguished gurus: B. Seetharama Sarma, Chengalpet Ranganathan, and Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer. At the same time, TM Krishna is ingenious in innovating this classical art form. His revolutionary approach to Carnatic music has drawn in new listeners and communicated the magnificence of Carnatic music without intimidating them with archaic references. Apart from music, TM Krishna uses his skills as a writer, researcher, and critic to make the Carnatic music community more inclusive and expansive. Additionally, state and national governments have recognized TM Krishna for his musical and community-oriented accomplishments.
