COMMUNITY EVENT • KidsFest - The Elixir of Love
A live opera performance for students! Students also get to meet one of the stars of the show, receive an introduction to the world of theater, receive a snack, and get a take home packet!
The only way in to KidsFest is with a kid! Kids of all ages are invited to bring their parent, guardian, or entire summer camp to experience the wonder of a live opera production at the beautiful Paramount Theater. Students are greeted by music staff and "warmed up" before the show through vocal exercises, a conversation with one of the performers, and a brief tour of the theater. As students take their seats they enjoy complimentary popcorn and water as they watch the first act of the show. Students are dismissed at intermission and given a take home packet of materials.
All performances are at The Paramount Theater. KidsFest is ideal for Kindergarten and up.
