Annie Galvin, Producer at The Ezra Klein Show
Annie Galvin has worked on episodes about everything from politics and economics to music, poetry and critical theory. Previously she was an editor and podcast producer at Public Books. She holds a PhD in English from UVa and lives in Charlottesville.
Elliott Robinson, News Director at VPM
Elliott Robinson has led the News Department at VPM, the NPR and PBS station for central Virginia, since August 2021. VPM News includes the radio/digital daily news team, VPM News Focal Point and Style Weekly. His nearly 20-year journalism career includes stints at Charlottesville Tomorrow; The Daily Progress, in Charlottesville; the Richmond Times-Dispatch; the Hopewell News; and The Progress-Index in Petersburg. He is a native of Hampton and a graduate of Christopher Newport University.
Sage Tanguay, Audio Producer at WTJU Radio
Sage Tanguay (Drama and Dance, Class of 2016) is an audio producer at Brown Residential College and the Virginia Audio Collective at WTJU 91.1 FM. She began her path in media as a student at WTJU / WXTJ. After graduating, she served as the daily host of "The Morning Dew" on Allegheny Mountain Radio, where she later became the WVMR Station Coordinator.
This panel will be followed up with a workshop on how to create impactful application materials for public media internships and jobs, along with some time to network! Food will be provided.
