MRC Live Showcase for WTJU Rock Marathon 2025

WTJU welcomes student talent from Cville’s MRC as part of the Rock Marathon 2025. Attend live or listen on air at 91.1FM, online at wtju.net, or video stream at WTJU's Facebook or YouTube page.

As part of the 2025 Rock Marathon, WTJU will be hosting a special live showcase of student talent from Charlottesville’s Music Resource Center (MRC). This event, at the WTJU Stage, is open to all at 2244 Ivy Rd. You can also listen on 91.1 FM, stream via wtju.net, and video stream on WTJU’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

Stop by or tune in to enjoy sets by MRC members MerakiNoah Liebermann, and Zina Zaleska, followed by selections recorded at the MRC, hosted by MRC program director and WTJU alum DJ, Jordan Perry.

Affordable to all, the Music Resource Center is a safe, diverse, and creative community in Charlottesville where teens learn, grow, and make music together. As a nonprofit after-school program, the Music Resource Center provides unlimited voice, instrument, and dance lessons, practice space, mentorship, access to instruments and equipment, performance opportunities, summer camps, and recording studio time to 6th – 12th grade students.

While this event is free, donations to WTJU’s fundraiser are encouraged, at wtju.net/donate!
