COMMUNITY EVENT • FUN-raiser at Duner’s for Documentary “How To Feed An Artist”

Join Duner's for a happy hour social mixer replete with appetizers and drinks before a screening of our latest 20 minute sample section of our “How To Feed An Artist” feature documentary.

Exploring the complex connections between art, food and creative placemaking, this documentary shows what it takes to build a community, and a famous diner. Co-directors zap mcconnell and Cat Rider will catch you up with the current progress of the film, share insight into the colorful threads being woven in post-production while illuminating their plan to get to the finish line.

This is a community supported project. We are honored to be hosted by Jennifer and Christian Kelly, owners of Duner’s, a mainstay in the Charlottesville/Ivy scene. Come celebrate with us! Be part of making “How To Feed An Artist” documentary, a gentle call to action to support local watering holes and the artists that congregate there, that together insure cultural vitality.

~Doors open at 5:30 for mixing and mingling with co-directors.

~Screening and presentation begins at 6:30pm. The full presentation is 45 minutes.
