Where Words Once Were is a contemporary play written by Finegan Kruckemeyer set in a dystopian society. In their society, words and language are controlled by the government, and citizens are limited to a certain number of words. When a young boy named Orhan meets a girl who is an outcast of their society, he discovers all the words they have lost, sparking a journey to uncensor their language.
