Clusterfunk – Current Students & Recent Alum Band

Clusterfunk is a rock/funk group made up of students from the Curry School, Batten, the College, and the E-School. Despite the fact that many of them are graduating this semester, they came together a few months ago over a shared love of rock’n’roll and making music.

Radio Music Society – Student CIO

Radio Music Society is a string-based music ensemble that specializes in playing modern pop music—anything that can be heard on the radio can be heard from our instruments. Our mission is to bring string music to the masses at UVA and the Charlottesville area.

21^st Century Limited – Staff Band

The band 21st Century Limited is an Alt-Blues-Roots rock band that has been playing around Central Va. since 2019 and we are all veterans of the Charlottesville music scene.

UVA Faculty, Staff, & Students: All UVA faculty, staff, and students are eligible to enter the lottery (one submission per person) with an option to bring a guest. 

Lottery: The deadline to enter the lottery is 12:00 pm on Tuesday, April 12. Winners will be notified no later than 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 12. You will be asked to confirm your attendance, as we anticipate a waitlist and will allow those on the waitlist in, as we can.

Arts on the Hill is a recurring event on Carr's Hill featuring artists and scholars from our faculty and student body, and visiting artists and scholars from around the globe. President Jim Ryan will host guests each month during the academic year for performances and discussions around the Arts at UVA!! This is an ongoing partnership between the Office of the President & the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost.
