I haven’t intentionally looked at myself in the mirror or self-view in calls for a few months (since October 19, 2020) in the hopes of growing in self-forgetfulness and focusing more on others. During that time, I learned how to embroider. I’ve also been growing out my hair in the hopes of eventually donating it. I decided to try embroidering the last selfie I have before I started the challenge with my (washed) hair on reflective cardstock. Most “threads” are 6 hairs thick. I like how the back is very messy and doesn’t make a lot of sense, but that’s like in life who we don’t see what goes into the “final product,” yet the process is important too.
